We are currently (November 2024) in Argentina. Mid December we will end our trip and drive quickly back to Colombia, so sale location is very flexible through December. We purchased this Colombian plated car in Medellin after test driving over 2 dozen. We wanted to ensure it was very reliable and very safe, as we are travelling with our kids. It runs great, and doesn't have any mechanical issues we are aware of. We have travelled 4,000 km so far. We had a very detailed review done by a Toyota specialist mechanic and undertook all the recommended and preventative maintenance, including:
- new thermostat
- new radiator hoses
- new water pump
- new serpentine belt
- new gas pump
- new throttle sensor
- new fuel filter
- new headlights and added fog lights
- oil change, coolant change, all fluids checked
- new CV joints
- new timing belt
- new heavy duty tires
- new roof rack
- new roof Mount fuel canister
- new wiper blades
- new rubberized floor mats
- new repair kit and safety kit
- new Bluetooth stereo
- window tinting
When we bought it, brake pads were at 80% and the discs were in good condition.
We also have a S America starlink, pots, machete, kitchen bins up for grabs.
Current mileage is 174,970 km and we are in south Argentina. Expected approximate mileage at sale (assuming we sell in Colombia 185,000 km.)
