Which Base vehicle for overland truck?

We are currently researching which vehicle we should use as a base for our overland build.

We want a base vehicle that is going to be:

• Reliable
• Easy to maintain
• Able to obtain parts globally
• Decent clearance / off road capability

Which vehicle would you recommend?

How many people in the vehicle
Where do you want to travel to
How long will you be travelling
Do you want to go off road

Were you able to acquire a base truck for overland? I've been using my Ford F-150 for daily driving, overlanding , and off-roading. It is easy to maintain and modify exactly to my needs. I'm using aftermarket parts depending on the condition of the place and terrain. I got most of it from 4WheelOnline.
