Hey there everybody,
I am a just turned 50 year old solo female traveller who road trips around the world. I usually hire a 2WD vehicle wherever I go but that is changing according to my 3 year plan. 2020-2023 research/save/create a Fiat Ducato Van Conversion. I'll be using my home on wheels for 25 years to travel the world.
I did a search on these forums, and it is the same as when I road tripped the Patagonia from Temuco to Punta Arenas in Dec 19 to Feb 20, there are no other solo female car road trippers I have found, where are you all? I would love to meet and share experiences/advice.
My plan Part 1, is to road trip Australia in 2023 onwards as slow as I am able to allow me to see every bit of this gorgeous country, even the parts I've already seen and fix any teething issues.
Part 2 is to see if my work will allow me to take off overseas indefinitely beginning in Malaysia's countryside which I haven't seen as yet and crossing through Thailand, Myanmar, India seeing the countryside, which I missed on my last visit, Pakistan, Iran, the Stan's, Turkey more in depth this time, European countries that I haven't done, UK, Iceland, Canada West coast this time, USA countryside this time, Mexico, Uruguay and more of South America that I haven't done. I may see China if the guided car tour allows me to see the countryside and rivers etc., as I didn't enjoy the China I saw on my original visit, the cities are such a waste of time, although the wall was amazing. Maybe even Russia if I can see the countryside, as I've done Serbia and the Russian cities already, then I think I'll be happy and ready to come home to buy and live in a tiny home ready for my 80's and catching up on all the books I can then make time for...
I look forward to meeting you all and hearing your adventures.
