Hi All,
I am new to this forum. My friend (Canadian) and I (Australian) are planning a global overland trip.
We aim to ship our vehicle (Toyota Hilux 4x4) in July 2017 from Perth to Singapore. We will meet the vehicle in Singapore and travel overland to Europe. From Europe/UK, we wish to ship to US or Canada (Whichever is the cost efficient option) and drive to Vancouver, then head south along the west coast of the Americas to Patagonia. Our duration is a minimum of 12mths hopefully with humanitarian work opportunities along the way (we like to help people in need).
We have camping, trekking, hiking and backpacking experience, but are very new to overland travel. Our vehicle is off-road capable and our sleeping arrangements will be via swags and tent.
Please say hello, and all advice is truly appreciated. If you have tips and info in regards to shipping, humanitarian works, great camping locations etc please let us know!
We hope to obtain a wealth of knowledge from you all before we embark on The Journey Of A Lifetime!
Thanks,
M.
