We are a french couple living in Canada. We are planing for an overland trip through South America next year around march.
The plan is to buy a VW Kombi in chile and drive from Patagonia and all the way north to Colombia. From there we'll then plan to ship the van to the US (but with these new rules we are afraid to get stuck at the docks because we can't get a US insurance with a foreign vehicle) and finally drive back to Canada. All that in around 6-8 months!
We are there to gather some useful informations from other travelers as well as why not meeting people that we could meet on the road!
