Hong Kong to Europe

Hi,
Thanks for accepting me to the forum. At some point in the near future we hope to drive our Landrover Discovery 4 from Hong Kong, where we currently live, through China, Mongolia and Russia, then dropping down through Georgia, Armenia and into Turkey and then back to UK. If anyone has done this or can give any useful points or websites then I would be very grateful.

We did the trip in reverse but 6 years ago now (2014), so rules & regulations have probably changed.
Not to mention local covid rules for each country. China is expensive as a guide was mandatory when we went through (if one drove their own vehicle), hence we travelled in a group for that part.
Loved it though, we took 8 months to go from France to Singapore, then back to Thailand. Mongolia and Russian Altai were amazing.
Good luck with all the planning and visas, do allow plenty of time (start researching the year before) and be aware of validity etc (some visas can only be procured from home countries, and/or are only valid for X months, and so on).
