Just joined this forum, so even though I have loved traveling in 4x4s and adv motorcycles... we have been living in Europe for the last 4 years.

We have been wanting to move back to Africa. Then this pandemic happened... now through various different discussions, weare thinking about driving from Europe to South Africa once all borders are open again and there is some form of treatment for covid.

We have lots to prepare and learn before then.

Which route to planning from Europe to South Africa, east or west coast?

Right now it is important to keep an eye on Visa requirements, and also the current border status, it could be a while before you can travel the length of either coast.

We will be creating a couple of threads in this forum shortly, which should help with visas and the current border status for both the East and West Coast.

have you already purchased your vehicle? or are you still planning and looking?
