Hello from South Africa

I recently sold my business, Big Country 4x4, which manufactures a whole range of cool overland vehicle accessories. I have a fully kitted LandCruiser Single Cab and all of my overlanding has been in the Southern African region. Now that I have a bit more available time, my wife and I want to spend a year overlanding the continent of South America (from south to north) and then ending up in Arizona in May for the Overland Expo.
If anyone has a suggested route or list of "must see" places, it would really be appreciated
