Dan here, from Ireland. A friend and I are driving to Turkey, Iran, Iraqi Kurdistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in July August this year. Were originally supposed to do a longer route several years ago but life....

So, I'll be posting more in this forum in the future but as a starting point my biggest questions will be on paperwork required and border crossings.

I did wrote about travellers in my Buschfunk Series #3, if I remember right. Those guys are now in saudiarabia, they did the route you mention, recently..
