Ok Guys/Gals,
We've been a part of a lot of car/4wd specific forums in the last 2 years but we've been searching for something specific and I just stumbled across the Facebook page associated with this forum.
I'll do my best to run through our whole story in as few words as possible.
At the start of 2019 we decided to setup our grocery getter Ford Escape to be able to escape (no pun intended) the city. Here's us working on the Escape:
What we discovered driving across America from NYC to Grand Canyon changed our life and we decided to make overlanding a big part of our life:
There's a ton of videos from that trip and I don't want to bore you guys with all of them but we've since 'upgraded' to our 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 and we frigging love her.
We've been spending the Pandemic upgrading as much as we can afford and we plan to hit the Trans American Trail starting in Virginia as soon as the closures allow, Which is hopefully before the end of Summer 2020.
If anyone can share anything you think we need to know before hitting the TAT or anyone who'd like to meet up along the way we're super down to hear from you.
