Greetings, I'm a new member of this group but no stranger to overland and international travel. In my 20's I traveled with a backpack and limited funds through So. East Asia, Baja and throughout the US west. My wife and I then saved up and went on a 9 month 22 country world tour also with backpacks and low budget (Prior to kids) Over the past 20 years work, life responsibilities etc. all have kept our adventures to 2 weeks or less camping, overlanding, backpacking, car and plane trips with the kids. As we move closer toward the empty nest phase I want to start to get our plans in place to once again wander far and wide but this time in more comfort : > ) in a competent vehicle. I look forward to learning and the inspiration of those who are venturing now.
