We are trying to organize an overland trip from Australia back to UK next year.
The idea is to ship the car to Sydney, drive up the East coast to Darwin and then ship the car to East Timor, through Indonesia and then over to Malaysia.
Is this possible?
We are having problems finding a way to ship the car and ourselves to East Timor.
Can anyone help us please?
We have found a way of shipping the car over but not us.
Is Indonesia out of the question?

With all the new rules and regulations in Thailand and China we are changing our trip.
At the moment we are looking at shipping into South Korea late April early May stay there for 3weeks and then take the ferry to Vladivostok. From there we drive around the top end of China and cross at Altanbulag into Mongolia and then continue into Europe. Doing the trip this way we save the money for the guides in Thailand and China besides that we have no problem regarding the size of the vehicles and the age of the drivers.
Safe travels ….Tramp
