Hi,
Does someone had an issue to pass borders with an apparent winch?
in the same spirit, with an apparent petrol canister and gas cylinder.
Can you tell me which country(ies) please?
Thanks in advance

Hi
Throughout Africa I have not had any issues with fuel containers or gas bottles when I crossed a border. However in Dar Es Salem I did have an issue with the gas bottles that were attach to my trailer. Apparently you can not use the ferry if you are carrying gas bottles. Paid a fine, which I think was just a way for the chaps to earn a few bob extra and have fun with a foreigner.

I have no experience with winches and I can not see where an issue would arise.

That's the same problem my brother had. I advised him to change the car or read on the forums what to do with it. He made it even smarter found a couple of sites and figured out how to save fuel, and what is the best fuel to use. And in general, after he read one article on the site, he sold the old car and bought a new car on gas. Why? Yes, because gas is much cheaper, especially in our days when money is very small, and even a pandemic has hit us. Therefore, my friend, think for yourself, I have expressed my opinion on this matter, I hope for your understanding.
