Planning to drive to Asia and Back

Hi All,

I am currently planning to drive to Asia and back this summer or next in a Land Rover Defender

The first questions i have have is which route would you recommend?

Im currently thinking of travelling via the stans to Mongolia then don through China to SE Asia, then back through Myanmar, India and Iran,

Does anyone have any experience or advice they can share?
 
Have a look at your options for visa's as you may find it difficult to get some of them outside your homes country i,e Pakistan & Iran, therefore you may want to consider reversing your plan..

Also note you will need a guide for Iran, Mayanmar, Chime and Thailand (depending on which border you enter)
