Hello everyone,
My wife Taylor and I are currently preparing for a trip from our home in Oregon to Argentina, departing October 2016. After we've had our fill of South America, we're tentatively planning to ship to Capetown and work our way through Africa to Cairo. After that, who knows! Planning is for adults, and being an adult is hard.
We're going to be driving our 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 with a Four Wheel Camper on the back.
We don't have much (any) overlanding experience, but we're resourceful and easy going. We both grew up hunting and camping and I farmed for many years so am good at driving in rough conditions and completing repairs with minimal tools, parts, or support.
