Hello,
We are from AZ and would like to some day make the long trek down to Argentina. I have dreams of going down there and living for a year or two but the wife isn't so sure.. Oh well...
No kids. We have two amazing Border Collies and would have to figure out how to travel with them.
I run a small company called 4X Overland Adventures, 4xoa.com, here is AZ that focuses on trips in the Southwest. So if any of you are passing through and plan on staying for a bit let me know. We would be happy to take you are some of the lesser know or known areas in the Southwest. I am happy to answer any questions on areas that we have travelled on.
I own a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser and a DIY off-road trailer with an RTT, Kitchen, Shower, and lots of storage space. The trailer is in the process of getting a better roof rack and larger RTT.
I have helped guide groups on the AZ Border to Border run and Utah Border to Border. We are planning on Idaho Border to Border in 2016 but don't have a date yet. Likely July.
We have travelled to Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Argentina by air along with most of western Europe since the 90's.
Not sure when the "we decided to sell everything and...." moment will happen. For now I will continue to read other peoples journeys and learn all that I can.
Thanks,
Chris
