Iam Chris, and travel with the wife and our 2yr old and hopefully now with our little boy born in December.
Intro:
Vehicle 2001 Landcruiser 100 series vx 4.2d auto UK. Bought in Dec 18 standard with some mechanical issues to be addressed.
Modifications:3rd row seats removed. Front runner SL2 rack. Snorkel and breathers. Tyre upgrade 285/75/16. Ironing foam cell pro 2" lift with extra duty rear springs. Ironman torsion bars. Home built drawers,fridge slide and kitchen. On board ARB single compressor. 30l water system with, 2 stage filtration (5um carbon block and 0.5um ceramic) suck and pump. ASFIR skid plates. Escapegear seat covers. Ostrich wing awning and until recently ARB simpson 3 RTT. Custom roof box with 100w solar (to sell as can't fit this and the new tent on the roof)
Planned works:
Bundutec XL roof tent. Ironman front bumper, winch. Rear bumper with wheel+ Jerry can carrier. 2nd fuel tank to take range circa 1000kms. UV filter system addition to water set up.
Trips:
Taken a number of Scotish west coast trips, Snowdonia and cornish coastal. (All shakedown trips)
