Just joined the group, thanks! Just a quick introduction: Back in 2005, my wife (Cathy) and I (Mike) did an overland trip in a Toyota Landcruiser from South Africa to Egypt together with my brother and his wife. Cathy was pregnant at the time, so we had to take some special precautions, but it was an amazing experience and everything turned out perfectly - including our daughter

But, today, our main reason for joining the Overland Sphere forum is because we are planning a bigger overland adventure now as a family of four to start in 2017 where we will drive around the world. Lots of things to consider... the right vehicle, the best route, the right educational objectives, the best homeschooling methods, etc., etc. ... So, I'm really hoping to learn a lot from everyone here. Thanks again, I look forward to reading your stories (and, learning from your advice) as we plan and undertake our next overland adventure.
