Toyota Tequila and Tacos!
On our way to the end of the Americas continent. Been on the road a bit more than 3 months and heading south. One Australian male and one welsh female, driving a 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser, which is "armoured, lifted, locked and loaded" and thats not meant in a gun toting way!! A lot has gone into this vehicle too much to list but if you're interested let us know.
Not new to over landing but new to these forums and websites. First time I was over landing was from the UK to India and the internet was still to be discovered! Happy to be here and to hear from other fellow and like minded travellers.
Our journey began in May in Colorado, and we covered a lot of the western States before crossing into Baja. Now we keep heading south via Belize and the rest of central America.
There's no website tracking our progress but we're happy to help out or listen to anyone who is taking part in a similar road trip. Hoping to make the crossing over to Cartagena from Panama sometime in November/December if anyone is interested in sharing containers etc.
Heading out on the highway….there's is simply nothing quite like the freedom of a road trip!
Cheers for now
