"Hi everyone! I’d like to introduce myself and my 2001 Fiat 600, nicknamed 'Bubble'. While most people see it as a simple city car, I’ve spent the last three years re-engineering it into a true expedition vehicle.
To date, we have explored the toughest corners of Northern Europe together, crossing Norway, Sweden, and Finland, all the way to the frozen landscapes of Iceland in the dead of winter.
The car weighs less than 1000kg and I’ve personally rebuilt the engine to optimize it for overlanding, focusing on low-end torque (100Nm) and a custom 1:2.5 final drive ratio. Everything you see—from the independent suspension with air helper springs to the custom external intake—has been custom-built because 'off-the-shelf' parts for this kind of challenge simply don't exist for a 600.
