I'm so glad to have found this forum.
We are planning an overlanding Africa expedition with a 4x4 vehicle, the west route. Want to start in January/February 2022, still waiting for the vehicle and to see if we can cross from Algeria to Mauritania or if the Morocco/Mauritania border will eventually re-open.
Any help or better, teams to join us for the Sahara crossing, are welcomed!
I have experience in overlanding, went from Europe to Mongolia and back in 2021 with a Subaru Forester and did 5 south African countries with a hired Toyota Hi-Lux for one moth in 2016.
