The “State of Public Calamity” has been extended until 8 August 2020. There have been changes to the curfew and restrictions on freedom of movement. Modified restrictions of movement have been applied to the departments of Guatemala, Sacatepequez, Escuintla and Quetzaltenango from 0500 on 29 June (see 'Summary and ‘Staying during coronavirus’ pages for details)
