I am a Zimbabwean born Australian. I am having a Piaggio Ape (tuk tuk) delivery vehicle converted into a mini-camper in Johannesburg South Africa. This will be ready for collection at the end of April 2024. I will test run the vehicle through the Karoo (semi-desert region and mostly dirt roads) to Cape Town and then return to Johannesburg for the first service and any modifications if required.
Once I am happy with everything and all my paperwork is in order I will commence my trip basically following the Rift Valley along the eastern side of Africa. That is my intention anyway and like all these events circumstances, can change ones direction. I am flexible. So in short a 45km/hr trip through Africa and as the saying goes; Its not the destination, its the journey! Safe travels all. Regards Mark
