hi everyone!
I'm a longterm-traveler from germany, 8years on the road, 54 countries, no intention of settling down.
I'm in australia now since 1.5years, traveling around with my trusty old nissan patrol. it's time to fulfill my dream of driving around the world. starting probably in october 2017. without any time pressure. slowtravel...
sitting in down under, getting shippingquotes, trying to get the car ready, studying all the overlander websites, blogs and facebookgroups, I realise that this is a fulltimejob.
the plan was, to ship over to singapore, drive up to india and nepal and along the southern route through pakistan and iran to europe. it seems to be a quiet difficult route, the carnet, the shipping, the visa, the guides, the safety,... since I've been to asia already a few times, I'm thinking about changing the whole thing and shipping over to southamerica straight away, going the other way around, which gives me the chance to get jobs in chile and argentina with the working-holiday-visa and make my financial situation a bit better.
anyway... I'll follow, I'll ask questions, I'll be thankful for every advise, I'll be happy to meet other overlanders who travel trough new south wales in the next few month or through northwest australia from may till october
safe travels everyone!
